After playing in the 80’s the last few days, the heat broke and it was 71 when we teed off and about 65 when we finished. Wearing shorts, I was actually cold. But I soldered on and played some golf.
If you look past the trappings you can see that Buffalo Creek has some good bones. They are working on upgrades but there is a lot to do (the starter told us to lift out of the traps).

In spite of that we had an enjoyable round. A variety of challenging holes kept it interesting. I played well shooting a 90 while losing 3 balls.
Dinner with Randy and lovely wife afterwords was very enjoyable. One more day in the Dallas metro area and then it’s on to Austin.
