For those who don’t believe in the golf gods let me point out 2 facts: right after I said “no course intimidates me anymore “ I had to play Purgatory, then after I say “it’s all downhill from here” I wake up to a forecast of rain all day long!
I bit the bullet and decided to just start playing. It was 51 and raining when I started.
After 6 holes the golf gods realized that they couldn’t intimidate me so the rain stopped.
There is nothing quite so peaceful as walking around an empty golf course whacking that little white ball.
My card was interesting after no warmup I had 4 straight pars followed by a double and a triple. Shot an 86 with 1 lost ball.
