It was my Brother in Law’s birthday so my sister arranged for him to play with his son and me. She must have also arranged the weather because it was gorgeous.

Before going out I spent some time talking with the GM. Very nice guy, but he warned me that the first five holes are pretty easy but the course doesn’t really start until number 6. That’s when it gets tough. He was right.

I had a hard time getting started and shot a disappointing 47 going out. Luckily my game came back to me and I played the harder back nine at a 42 including ending with 2 pars. The greens were incredibly fast and challenging. I also lost 4 balls but each time I put a TruVis in the woods I came out with two Titleists. That’s a bad trade.
