Finally a course near civilization but one that also has a history of financial problems.
Apparently both the course and the surrounding development went bankrupt in the financial crisis, but have come out of the other side over the last 10 years.
I am mad at myself because this course was laid out to shoot low. (For me that would be in the 80’s), straight fairways, not too challenging greens but I just couldn’t get it together. Chunking shots, missing putts. Not my best outing.
It’s a course that I would like to go back to and see what I could do with a little better round. But alas I don’t think that is to pass so I will leave my two balls there in peace.
I am now leaving Las Vegas and moving on.
