Purple Ball – Tom Seaver

In 1969, I was 8 years old, the Mets won their first World Series and Tom Seaver was THE MAN. He was the Ace of the staff, the man who could do anything. The face of the franchise.

When it was announced a couple of weeks ago that he had Alzheimer’s I knew that I had to play the Purple Ball for him on Opening Day. So on March 28th I played at StoneRidge for Tom Seaver.

Thoughts and Prayers for the Seaver family.
