The PGA Tour is coming to New Orleans so it seemed appropriate to honor someone who has been associated with the Tour for decades. The Purple Ball at English Turn was played for Peter Oosterhuis. Peter retired from commentating in 2014 after his diagnosis of Alzheimer’s. The entire golf community misses him.
